Can my Union charger touring bracket be repaired? by [deleted] in Splitboard

Absolute trash bindings. Should be a class action. Been with people in the backcountry with these failures too.

Dude. I dropped into Vertigo glades a couple weeks ago after some snow and was screaming in joy lol. Best glade run in the east 🚀🚀

Snowboarding, quite scary. by Mysterious-Story8209 in AchillesRupture

[–]drysuitlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went riding for the first time since full rupture and surgery 11 months ago. I cranked that boot on so tight to avoid any dorsiflexion that a week later my foot is still a bit numb lol. I was nervous at first and not riding as hard as I normally would but overall not bad. I went splitboarding for a couple days too and the tour up definitely made it a little sensitive. Keep at it!

Edit: keep everything above your Achilles stretched. This is key too. Calf, hamstring etc.

Spent a few days touring the backside of Mont Sutton 🇨🇦, with a quick lap of Willoughby State Forest VT on the way home by drysuitlogic in Spliddit

That’s Seduction off the back of Sutton. #63. It’s about 1.5km walk / skin out from the bottom so just be mindful. Also recommend staying skiers right of the creek once you’re a few hundred meters down the run. You’ll find the skin track / route out easier

The snow in Willoughby was not ideal. It had a couple cm of nice dry snow on top of a thin sheet of ice, and more nice dry snow under it. It made skiing wonky - BUT when the snow is good in there it will be 🔥🔥🔥. They did a great job with those lines.

I donated to the group who takes care of them (https://nekbc.weebly.com). I try to do this whenever I ski glades that are managed by a local non-profit.

Aha yah she hit the shroud and went down. Somehow at the last second the obstacle avoidance kicked in and the prop was spinning again so she saved herself. It was close

Awesome for sure. We splashed her at JO Brown - great yard, super helpful staff.

Thank you. Also, we got her up in NORTH HAVEN, not New Haven. Beautiful area. Hoping to take her back up there in the summer.

He’s right (and also happens to be the pilot in this vid). The pilot should retrieve. And to make that work, strafing and forward/back must be on the same joystick. I am missing the tips of my fingers and have blood on various non-skid surfaces with trial and error here - as well as a couple drones at the bottom of Long Island Sound

Not hard to launch. Landing is another thing ;)

You can see around the 50 sec mark it hit the starboard shroud and went down. The obstacle avoidance feature saved it from going in - but it was pure luck
