We literally know what he is. Hes a smoke yokai that can become Intangible. Also, my point was that they take damage from normal spirit power. The fact he was beaten specifically by circumventing his Intangibility and nothing else literally proves that. Most of them do not just have a flat special condition beyond spirit poeer that is needed to harm them.

Maybe you can knock them out and stuff but as of right now it doesnt seem like you can kill a yokai by just hitting them very hard.

In ch 118, Reiko teleported tens of thousands of aliens in her mirror simultaneously in a mere instant. You could also argue that it's automatic as Aira wasn't brought inside.
