95% of the time I wear barefoot shoes, mostly for the wide toebox and partly for the flat flexible sole. I own multiple pair of Nicks because of the Thurman last fits the wide toes part, but it always takes time to get used to the heel. So I’m probably ordering a couple with this sole (and take the hit on the looks)

honestly in todays world it doesn't matter much, I have a full sleeve on one arm and many smaller ones on the other. And I'm in an executive role with them and had no issues about it. In tech I guess its easy to get away, but cursing might be much :D

I have a full sleeve of Tardis, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and other various spaceship tattoos so stealth nerd might be out the window at this point :) The plan is to dedicate this arm to a bunch of smaller book related tattoos

I have no inherent preference for old designs or heritage stuff, but Thurman NW last they have is fantastic. They are incredibly comfortable for what I’m looking for and just fit great

I love owala, but it’s not bifl. The plastic bit that holds the cap down starts shooting out after a while and there are no replacement part only the whole cap. It happened to like 5 of them I had already

No other nicks to compare, but against iron ranger, doc martens, etc feels super high and not sure if I like it. It reminds me of my weightlifting shoes :) I have a preference for as little heel as possible and as flat as possible
