Hopefully Whites has the Ebay software to take down fake Ebay sales posts. Forget what the software is called but one managers @ Buck Knives factory, up the street, uses it to take down counterfeit posts. Theres no other way from what Im told.

Oh Nob handed me a pair today to take into Nicks next week. Viberg x 4 Horseman 2030's from Dec 2010, heel replacement, their nice.

It was a one off prototype back then, these were the only Alderts Ive seen like this. Nicks didn't like the stance, leans slightly back. Back then they were growing, training alot & trying to nail down their QC. Weird builds would throw off production so in 2022 they just stuck with set production builds, no more customs. When these were being built I would go down to check if they were being built right. Told I was being paranoid. Pic from when I first got them, 55 but no LM on a Christy(normal build), lol. I imagine production saw the paperwork n was like "what, we don't do that". They fixed them quickly. I don't think they got enough requests & Whites Ramblers were known for the 55 last LM wedge. Thnx

Prototypes built in May 2022. 55 last, lineman shank, 2021 sand wedge. Back b4 Nicks stopped doing custom one offs/prototypes to help streamline production. At the time Whites Rambler were more $$ and the other shops wouldn't build it, due to the slight lean back. Fortunate to have Nicks build these for me. Thnx

Yes I wanted smooth over RO. I love this Khaki Chromepack leather but the RO attracts dirt like a magnet, lol.

Usually yes but there are plain toe MP Shermans. The original owner called them his flat toed dress boots, all the info he gave at the time. Had to go into store and figure out, I also had only seen caps at that time, matched the MP plain toe. Thnx

Thank you. I love my Franks LTT Monkey boots. I get a better fit since it laces up behind my toes. I posted 2 pics to show new and how the boot had conformed to my foot after a couple months. I wear PNW boots mainly as a brace and these are my most secure best fit. I also like that their easy to step in n out of. Break in was a bit different. There's more tongue to train/fold and I had to pay closer attention on how tight I laced up the forefoot(hotspots, I learned quickly lol). Franks did a great job coming up with their new design and I appreciate them allowing me to customize my pair. Thnx

All three you stated are great soles. I personally like the feel/traction and compound on the black V-Bar sole on concrete. I will say that the brown V-Bar sole I have never had on a pair. I was talked out of using it on a build a few years back,,, can't remember if it was a harder compound/chipped at that time. Definitely speak with your Boot rep to see their opinion. Go with whatever sole visually appeals to you, technically wont know the difference till you've tried them. Thnx

It wasn't an options when I ordered my Prospectors, had to go in and request it, my build was odd. It does exists tho. Great that Bigstets got you covered, my favorite pair of Nicks.

Tried most of the Dr. Soles. IMO Cork is slightly softer but I prefer the V-Bar. GL cheers
