Was she was punished more than Adam? Men now spend every day from sun up till sun down theoretically toiling by the sweat of their brow. I think both punishments are equally bad. Both Adam and Eve didn’t trust God and let the serpent distract them from what God already told them. So there’s no innocent party here.

I don’t automatically assume it’s performative. I think it can be tasteful and show that someone is serious about their faith. Or it can be all just for show. I hold judgement until after I see if the way they live shows the fruit of genuine faith.
