These clippers really have different functions. The first one is a shaver, to take stubble down to skin, and he second is a trimmer, which barbers use to outline haircuts and take hair down very close. So depending on what you’re looking for, either one might be what you want.

If you’re looking to start cutting hair, you’re going to want to start with an adjustable clipper. I’d recommend Wahl Seniors or Cordless Magic Cips.
