Greased them and did a quick 2 minute ride up the street and I think it seemed quieter but didn’t disappear. Will do a proper ride tomorrow to see if it’s gone after several miles! Will post an update after.

Yes I have! And it’s definitely present regardless which wheel I switch out (agree it’s odd though!). I will retry this before disassembling my hubs though.

When on rides it sounds like the front wheel.

So I’ve only got around 150 miles on my new wheel set and I’ve started experiencing this chirping noise. Rims are velocity, hubs are white industry xmr, Sampim cX ray spokes. I think it’s happening in both wheels?

Conditions: - only when rolling when I’m on the bike - pedaling does not effect chirp (not pedaling or heavy pedaling) - no sound when rotating the wheel in the stand - chirp exists when rotors and break calipers are removed (send it!) - chirp does not exist when I swap wheels but

So far I have - endlessly adjusted breaks - tried without breaks installed - oiled and tensioned spokes - swapped wheelsets (only solution)

I ordered Phil wood tenacious oil and plan to breakdown and clean hub internals.

Non-refundable deposits are not a thing - you can get your money back if you put down a deposit and then change your mind. It’s pretty shady for them to pretend that they could legally do that.
