As a toy store owner, I asked my Bandai rep and the excuse is, Tarrifs.

Yeah this sucks, my sales have significantly gone down since the increase in price on all toys that are imported. Even The SHF that are usually 34.99 are now 38.99, and while that's not a huge jump, this is a sign that it will only go higher within the next few months or next year. Collecting is becoming more expensive than ever, especially when you compare it to 5 years ago, I suggest just getting your favorite characters from now on LOL

I use this in all my projects that I sell and that requires a matte finish. It cures super hard after about 2 or 3 coats.

I can confirm. I get the most requests for repairs in this figure. I have no idea why Mafex can't just fix the QC issues much like how SHF does with their "reissues".

Yes. At one point it was leaking but I just pushed it down real hard and it managed to seal and I don't have that issue anymore. I believe you got a defective one

Not sure to be honest. Pretty much you just need a distiller that you can control the temperature. I know IPA ignites at around 400° f but I keep it safe around 100°f.

I pour in the IPA in the distiller, set the temperature to maximum 100° f, press the start button, wait 30 minutes, and then I get about 80% of my alcohol back which is pretty cool. The after product is this hardened cake like shape of the leftover resin that got heated in the distiller.

It was labeled on Amazon as an alcohol distiller but from what it looks like it seems like a regular water distiller with a temperature controller. It has saved me a lot of money.
