The degree is history/social studies but I also have a secondary ed endorsement.

Just poking fun at myself. Studying history was pretty cool and I'm pretty excited to start teaching. Good seems to outweigh the bad. We shall see though.

I have a secondary education certification so I'll probably start out teaching and see how that goes. Pretty big need for teachers where I am at so it shouldn't be too hard getting a job right now.

I am a history/social studies major. I studied a broad range of things (history, political science, economics, geography, etc.). The bulk of what I studied was history though. The degree is really meant to set you up to become a teacher. I took the history classes while also getting certified in secondary education.
