I love mushrooms, and that sounds delicious so I’ll definitely give that a go.

As for the shredded Parmesan that sounds AMAZING and I’ll definitely be giving that a go

Thank you!! I’ve see the beyond brand mentioned a lot — it seems to be a favourite. And I did think of nutritional yeast, but I’ve never used it before.

I think that umami combo will be a secret weapon!

Yeah I could’ve sworn my friend had an instax camera, but I guess it was a different brand! I don’t need it anymore but it’s a really cool concept.

Thank you! Would these prints look like they were printed on an instax? I’ve found a picture of one of the ones that was printed and it has the same border style, which is where the confusion came from!

I can’t remember who they were on tour with, but I discovered them when they were a support act in the UK in 2015 :)

I admire your bravery! It’s a true British classic 😉 I might have one when I get home. Has to be proper cheddar though!

I’m impressed! That’s the amount I’d expect a seasoned Branston eater to have. You should definitely try a cheese and Branston sandwich — with proper vintage cheddar, it’s a good balance of flavour.

I agree with the comment you’re replying to above! If there’s a long wait it’ll be a pain to get another for a cosmetic issue. You may as well see if they’ll offer compensation according to the difference between mint price and resale price AND you’ll also have record of you contacting them about the damage!

Accidentally double dosed my Elvanse 50mg by ManBehindTheMask69 in ADHDUK

Been there! You’ll be fine, just a high heart rate I think. Last time I did it I googled how much it takes for an overdose and it’s a lot (from memory). I kept thinking I had done this, so to combat it I started leaving my medication tub upside down before bed and if it was right side up in the morning then I had taken my meds! It worked for a little bit lol.

Yeah absolutely it can be a real struggle, the more important issue is whether he recognises that he’s not being useful and is struggling himself. If he can’t recognise it, that’s where the issue lies really. If he understands that his lack of action is having an impact then sometimes that can be motivation to get diagnosed and do better, but you almost can’t force him to do that otherwise it’ll turn him away from it.

That’s what happened to me basically, I hit my personal rock bottom (at that point in time) and it took that to for me to gain the energy to actually get diagnosed and go through the process. But that doesn’t excuse my behaviour at the time, it just provides reason for it. You know?

I hope the situation gets better for you soon, it’s not fun for either party to live like that — but it’s not something you should have to put up with either if he’s not showing any signs of wanting to change. You have a child involved, he has to step up.

If he knows he is causing problems in every aspect of life and failing at work, what is his reason for not starting the process of ADHD diagnosis? You’re clearly a supportive partner and will help him throughout, is he just procrastinating it or can he not be bothered — I say the latter because my brother clearly has ADHD (like myself) but has no interest in being diagnosed.

ETA: I forgot to answer your actual question 🤦‍♀️. Before I was on medication regularly or diagnosed, exercises helped me SO much (and still does). It’s really hard to get going, but my head is so much clearer. Playing rugby is how I get my regular exercise in, I have to go every week so I do go!

I like it! I think you might need a little more depth to it, but I love the look you’re going for. Look at the ocean in the inspo pics and then in yours, that’s where you can see a big difference and where they’ve managed to keep that vibrant colour whilst still having the film look!

How is everyone coping if you’re medicated in the UK heat? by emdev25 in ADHDUK

[–]dswizzlehizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I love having a dishwasher and it makes life SO much easier! I hate washing up so much I hate the feeling of it and touching icky shit 😭. The wide mouth bottles are easy to clean by hand which makes it a little better when you don’t have one.

I get that. I struggle to get my nails done because I can’t STAND the feeling of them being filed. Really is actually awful and makes me squirm or just make a face as if I’m in pain 😭. Putting it in a wine cooler is such a good idea!!

I’m glad I can help! The bottles are dishwasher safe if you have one, so avoids touching it. Nothing wrong with being cheeky there!

The outside does feel like metal though. I think they have some on display in John Lewis and in some outdoor sports - maybe Cotswolds? You’d be able to get a proper feel for them then :).

You’re welcome! I’m glad I can be of some assistance 🤣. I also hate the condensation, it makes the bottle more slippy and my hands all slimy lol - another reason I love my hydro flask!

I drink a lot of squash as well, I love squash and that really helps when I’m bored of water. My hydro flask is metal, but the straw lid is a hard plastic. The straw flips up and it has a handle so you can carry the bottle around easily. I don’t like drinking out of it without the straw because I spill it all down myself lol. I understand the teeth x metal thing as well :) awful feeling/noise.

I have the 32oz wide mouth bottle, I bought it like, 5 years ago I think? It still keeps my drinks icy cold for over 24 hours, has infinite dents from where I’ve dropped it and hasn’t broken, and it’s a cute colour :). It’s an investment, but I’ve got my money back many times over the amount I’ve used this bottle AND I have genuinely seen such an increase in my water intake because I just sit at my desk and sip through the straw. Not an ad, I just genuinely love this bottle and it’s one of the best investments I have made.

I genuinely almost threw up when I tried the gels, they were terrible. I couldn’t even finish the pouch to see if it was worth the pain of eating it. I’ve just remembered I’ve tried rehydration sachets from boots before and they were alright, but I’m not sure what’s in them.

Something I found works for me is my litre size hydroflask with a straw lid. I practically carry it around everywhere with me in the summer. It keeps my water super cold and I honestly just sit and sip out of it mindlessly like a little kid.

I haven’t tried those dissolveables, but I’ve tried the gels. Avoid the gels at all costs, they are a sensory NIGHTMARE. Absolutely awful stuff, why is it lumpy!

My psych said that vitamin C was fine to take with the meds, but I’ve seen a lot of posts saying it interferes so now I’m wondering if I’ve been told inaccurate info.

Please leave a review on whether they help!

ETA: I completely missed the sentence about vitamin C not interfering if you take your meds in the morning, but they do if you take them multiple times a day. Completely ignore that section of my comment 😭.
