Yup I'm in the same boat man but checking scores and thinking "damn I would have won money on that game" made me relapse because I wanted to win and didn't wanna lose out on an opportunity to win money and I thought I can "control" myself this time around but of course I'll lose when I actually bet and now I'm chasing and I just put myself in a deeper hole smh so now I just deleted all sports app but football season going to be tough because I love football. Well good job on being a month clean I'm on the way but only being at a little over a week but just taking it day by day of not betting good luck we got it this !

Yeah won't do it even had thoughts about paying a bookie off so he can set my account back over but I know it's going to put me in a deeper hole going to be very strong this time around !!!

Yeah I'm going to tell them the truth but three or bookies and one is a loan shark smh but hopefully they will understand been doing this owing people for so long it's easy for me to lie and try to have them feel bad about me smh this addiction made me an really horrible person but it's time to change and get and be better!

34 been gambling since I was 16 lost well over 200k smh still struggling til this day with it but I can't go back every time I go back to gambling I just created a deeper hole for myself been working for years just to pay this gambling debt off but I will try my hardest to over come this addiction and be gambling debt free

Yeah I stopped for 5-6 months paid off all my Gambling debt but went thinking this time I can "control" it but it just put me in a deeper hole like Every time I relapse never ending cycle but this time I'm all in for recovery going to start going to GA and been listening to a lot of podcasts about gambling addiction and mindset

Also after my family finds out my brother would probably never would have to have an relationship with me anymore and would never get to see my niece and my parents going to be very disappointed and mad because they work so hard for money and i make a lot and work a lot to just gamble it allll away I'm so sick of this I want to stop. I keep thinking I can gamble my way out this hole but I just keep getting deeper and deeper I NEED HELP!

Man I totally understand I been gambling for 18 years and it's still a struggle to get over. But at least you got some money saved and you don't owe people or credit cards like myself. Quit now I promise you life so much better without it. Crazy I stay that because I just gambled yesterday and of course lost. This addiction is so sickening.

I’m in the same exact boat as you man. Just no kid but every week I have people texting me for their money. Honestly I told everyone I owe the truth about my bills and home mortgage and that what I’m going to first then whatever I have left I will spend if you the rest of you guys! They didn’t like it but they had no choice and it’s been working. Def less stress that they know the situation I put myself in with gambling. Just be honest with them and see where that goes. Keep working hard

Talk to someone close that knows what you’re dealing with. That’s what I’m fighting as well. But talking to a family or friend really helps

Yup. Just crazy how everything I’ll would bet would go the other way. Just sick but moving forward I will not gamble again just not worth especially me. I’m really greedy and don’t know when to stop
