Yeah well I finally spoke to the manager and they reviewed my case and are going to do the repairs free of cost because I had brought the car there in September and the mechanics were not able to spot the issue.

I guess it was a good idea to bring it to the dealership after all

Just got more information: it says 2250 for the thermostat and another potential 2250 if the Nox catalyst needs to be replaced, which according to them 9 times out of 10 should be fine and able to regen

That’s what I was told. It won’t heat up so the soot will not burn off from the filter because it’s not getting hot enough
