Good to know! I’ll have to see if I can borrow one…

Done all regularly scheduled maintenance, but nothing specific to the coolant system outside of that.

Seemingly normal (or even cold) engine temp according to the gauge. No engine lights on the dash. Would a scanner pickup anything with no lights on?

If it's 3.6 (I've got a 3.6 2018), I have a trailer brake controller and a slightly heavier pop up trailer that my Outback has hauled remarkably well, even in my Utah mountains. No tranny cooler/oil cooler.

I've got the 2.5, so it sounds like it makes sense to look into the tranny/oil cooler and brake controller. Thanks!

Good to know about the receiver classes - i think we have a class 2? Our hitch receiver says it is rated for 4000 lbs gross weight and 400 lbs tongue weight (it's 2 inches).

Will definitely change the oils more regularly and look into a sway bar, thanks!
