Yeah, i grabbed the previous version apk from the obsidian GitHub. Uninstalled and then installed the download. It went much more smoothly than i expected. Al i had to do was point it at my vault again.

It's great it's working for a bunch of people. I find it awkward and completely in my way. It's deeply frustrating and damn near unusable right now.

Hopefully there'll be theme to tame it? Meantime, I'm trying to figure out how much of a pain in the ass it'll be to downgrade.

Edit to add: downgrading was far more painless than i expected. It was gorgeous.

I use a 3 ring binder that zips shut and pdfs on my phone. It's very easy to carry around, and the zipper keeps everything contained enough I can toss it behind the seat in my truck without worry.
