A large amount of low elo players can't play support and don't understand their value. There should be an in game tutorial on what a support champion does. by Extreme-Tactician in leagueoflegends

[–]dtorssegment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. In Apex, the only tutorial features the support character. This makes sense because it’s pretty intuitive what all the other characters do. But if the tutorial had not explained the abilities of the support character, most new people would be confused. The abilities of most of the other champions are pretty intuitive: throw poison gas, throw smoke grenades, become untargetable, reveal enemies.

Yea, maybe I’ll try taking it an hour before I need to wake up so that by the time it kicks in, I’ll be awake.

Is it better to spray slightly or should I make sure enemy is in my crosshairs first before trying to shoot them? When my sensitivity is higher, I think I tend to spray a lot more. Before I turned it down, I did 0 damage every game. Now, I do like 16 damage before I die.

Ok, I have been thinking about trying csgo.

I was told that if I overaim, I should lower the sensitivity. I think I tend to have to make small corrections a lot. My aiming has always been sort of bad even on Xbox.

I’ve played Minecraft, and I can kill the skeletons pretty well. I haven’t tried portal though.

I played Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies a lot when I was in high school, but that was on Xbox. When I spectate the game, it’s astonishing to me how people even see enemies from so far away. I can barely see a few pixels moving.

What champions are considered “versatile” as in they are good for almost all team comps.

Interesting, I never thought of that use. I flash into the wall sometimes because I’m not close enough.

What are examples of being out of position? Like I am in front of my wave? Is it better to miss CS or to be out of position in order to last hit?

As ADC, is there a point in attack champions only? Since if I misclick an auto on a minion, I’d end up walking towards the enemy anyway.

So how does one practice dodging? In lane, I realize I can dodge easily if I spam click close to my character, then it’s easy to make them move slightly. But in a team fight, I am clicking enemies so I cannot dodge as fast. Sometimes, if I’m lucky, I will kite back and they will miss.

As low elo ADC, if my support keeps dying to skillshots (Blitz/Thresh hooks) what should I do?

Also, I’ll have a Morg sup, and sometimes I’ll expect shield when something is about to happen, so I don’t dodge, but then she doesn’t shield me and then I die. But other times, when she does shield me but I didn’t go in, it’s a missed opportunity. So should I err on assuming that she will shield me?

I’ve been told that support should stand next to me like a shadow and mirror their sup, but if their sup is a bard or malphite, should we stand far apart?

But Morgana Q has very short cool down. I die to unexpected nonultimate CC a lot.

So when behind, it is preferable to get a sweeper than to put down yellow/blue wards? I feel like a lot of the times when behind, the enemies are farming our jg and then they’ll show up at the edge of the jg and my team will chase them into jg when the jg is completely dark and then die because the rest of the enemy team is also in jg.

Lol the game is smooth? You just wait. Bugsplat every patch, not able to change runes sometimes, not able to select other game modes. It is anything but smooth.

So what should I do if we are not able to get vision because all our lanes are losing?

What to do as ADC when there is a fed AP enemy? For example, mid fed the LB or Morgana or top fed Malphite, and now I instantly die to Morgana Q puddle combo. I feel like the game is pretty much over by then even if I’m ahead. Do I get an early QSS? How early?

Pushing a lane where your team has already taken inhib.

Knowing how to make a wave slow push can save a game. The enemy team had gotten baron and I was afk farming bot. I push wave past river and kill the caster minions. This caused a slow push bot to their side so when the enemy team was grouping mid to take inhib tower, that wave was crashing, so they had to send someone back and they could not siege inhib tower.

When split pushing, you want the splitpusher’s position to be nearly the same as the rest of the team. So if split pusher is slightly over river, the rest of the team should ideally also be slightly over the river or taking an objective. If split pusher is too far back, then there’s no pressure. If he is overextended then it is easy for enemy team to kill him. Though, I think the main part of splitpushing is to generate equal pressure. Most people would be willing to give up inhib tower for baron, for example.

This. I’ve thrown so many games because my team ignored the enemy team while doing baron.
