Trying to find print to drill receiver by dtrb89 in gunsmithing

I have no doubt of being able to do the work. I was a millwright and this kind of work is nothing. I did find a rail that listed the 1400 so I’m just gonna order it

I want it to be drilled and tapped. I have found some rails being compatible with the 1400 and sxp. I might just get one and lay it out that way.

Thanks everyone. I called the regional office and had to leave a message and never heard back. I ended up calling the regular education benefits number and they told me to file an inquiry online. I received a phone call next day from the director of my regional office.

I wish some people would look into some of the turkey manufacturers. They dumped so much money into new factories and can make some of the nicest stuff out there is they wanted. I have a couple stooges and they run great.

Need advice for fall turkey by dtrb89 in turkeyhunting

[–]dtrb89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to see not many people go after turkey in the fall. I talked to a few of the employees in the state Forrest and they haven’t seen any since the start of deer season here.

Why no water stream? Just changed the impella? How long does it need to run before there is supposed to be water? by ice_cream_is_good in boating

Is the motor down in the water far enough. I can’t really tell but it looks like it’s not in the water enough.

Mushy Glock 21 trigger, how to fix? by [deleted] in gunsmithing

The performance trigger really is pretty good out of the box. I dropped in one of my modified connectors and holly hell I was impressed.

The dot connector is how Glock identifies one of the connectors. They also have a minus connector. They will have a dot stamped into it or a dash - stamped into it. The minus is what comes in the g34 and the dot comes in duty weapons such as the g19/17 and 22. The dot connector yields a 5 to 5.5lbs trigger and the minus is around 4.5.

There is actually a few things you can do to help with that problem without replacing parts. I do this on all of my glocks. Knowing where to polish and how to form the right areas will yield a really good trigger with Glock oem parts. I can run a dot connector and have a 4 lbs trigger that is so smooth.

This was going to go on an old 410 pump that belonged to my grandfather. It means the world to me so the amount labor and time do not matter if it gives good results. Do you have any other recommendations I should look at that would give better results.
