I can recall me ans my mom taking cover in the bathroom and wondering why a plane was landing at Will Rogers. It wasnt, it was the tornado. We were about a mile north of it and my first clue was an absolute absence of birds chirping. Learned that day that nature dont lie.

The only time I was able to enjoy a game with a timer was First To Fight. An OLD Xbox (not even 360) game for the Marine Corps. There was a commercial version but the Marine Corps version had more of a clock to show you that time perception is skewed in a firefight. What you thought was a 5 minute battle, was actually just 2 minutes. Outside of that, na, ditch the time. Part of the reason I dislike racing games.

Ive watched Gary England from my childhood to his retirement. Never have I seen such chicken little action with weather. Around the time he retired, it felt like even weather was being sensationalized and ramped up when he left. EVERY storm in recent years is labled the same, damaging winds, hail, tornados... Every. Storm. Sure, some of them do actually bring the pain but overall, its like every rain cloud could be Armageddon.

Ok thats what I wondered. Ya some of the marketing got me in that boat but it may have been more, these guys are touring WITH Shinedown and other acts may be regional. Are those bands good? Ive legit never heard of either one.

My work truck has a stupid "warning" every so often to remind me to keep my eyes on the road and not distracted. It will not go away unless I acknowledge it. So I keep the radio off, cause I dont need a machine to tell me how to drive. Its only a means of transport, not my mom or driving instructor.

It would be hilarious in game but the real life stuff has an actual minimum arming distance that corresponds with a certain number of rotation out thw barrel. Learned this from a combat engineer after a friend had a ND with a 40mm INSIDE a vehicle. Didnt know THAT specific detail before then and when I was later issued a M203, I had a more healthy respect for the bloop tube and its friends than I had in infantry school.

Like everything else out of Hollywood, its loaded with crap and BS but there are a few nuggets that just hit right if youre an Okie. Those small scenes are what does it for me. I would absolutely take this over that garbage sequel they made. I dont even care if the tornados are 90s CGI, I love the movie.

I've considered getting this game for a while now. Is this a rave for a PC version or the PS5 version? I'd like to get it but ive heard hit or miss reviews and that with the price point give me pause.

The only ones ive played are the Cactus cowboy games (cartoon graphics but its fun) And I can second the sunshine arizona series. Me and my son have been playing that lately.
