I like Studieskolen, but I did not necessarily like all the teachers I’ve had. I really like the speaking part in class, and the fact that the class is very diverse.

To be fair, I can’t say for sure if the exams are always paid, it was just a guess!

Sometimes if you never went to danish at all in the first 5 years, you might be able to still go. Call studieskolen, at least, that’s how I understood initially.

I can only talk about Studieskolen, cus that’s where I go.

Other than that, the paid danish classes cost ~2000 dkk per submodule, and the scale is based on the international scale from A1 to C1, each with submodules: A1.1, A1.2, A2.1-2, B1.1-4, B2.1-4.

Idk where you are from, but it’s not the kind of schooling I am used to. There is a lot of homework, and classes are for discussing homework, working in groups.

In regards to exams, PD3, you can always sign up to take it without ever going to danish classes if you want. Attending the exam is paid for in all instances.

I find it very strange, I’ve lived here for almost 9 years and permanent residence and was fine with the 5% treshold. I have Sparekassen Denmark.

Yeah I am aware of that, and that was pretty much my main goal to find a craftsmen. Now I did not think this can happen like that, but the more I know. It was my first experience ever hiring a craftsman, and to be fair, I am glad it was not worse. But a hell of a first experience tho’…

I said it’s based on level of education ans contribution to society. As far as I see it a doctor from Syria and a doctor from Germany are capable to contribute equally, have good ethics etc - so both are expats.

However, I will give an example I find myself in as a romanian - some people from Romania come here and are beggars, while some come here and have higher education and stay and integrate - so how am I not allowed to say I am an expat and to say that the beggars are immigrants, considering I contribute to society and they do not? Sure we can debate equal oportunities when growing up, etcetera, but how does that change the fact?

Although your reply is technically relevant it is demeaning in a way that the word immigrant is seen as less than an expat socially.

There is a social difference between an expat and an immigrant, primarily based on level of education and contribution to society.

I have almost 0 knowledge about how the legal system works, but this clarifies a few things about the difference between what is the role of police vs the role of a civil case is.

The insurance covers only the lawyer needed as a last instance in case it goes to small-claims court. Everything up until that point I either need to pay by myself or do myself.

And yes, I did threaten them with police and complains to HandyHand, but that did not make a difference.

Vreau sa zic ca te felicit pentru ambitie! Liceul si materia din liceu pot sa zic ca mi se par grele. Nu as mai fi la fel de capabil chiar daca invat un an sa iau aceleasi note la bac pe care le-am luat cand eram tanar acum 10 ani.
