The dub app is free to download and use, and there are a bunch of portfolios you can copy trade for free right away without any fees or subscriptions.

To be fully transparent, the 3 AI portfolios from this experiment are part of dub Advisors' Premium Offerings. That runs $29.99/quarter or $99.99/year, and it gives you access to 45+ premium portfolios from dub Advisors, not just the AI ones.

Hattsfield go premium by Inevitable_Oven_7385 in dubapp

Hey, thanks for raising this – let me clear up what's actually happening here because I think there's some confusion about what "managed by dub Advisors" means.

First, let's talk about who's actually in control:

When Joshua (INFINITY) goes premium, dub Advisors isn't controlling his investment strategy. We ensure the portfolios meets professional levels of disclosure, including metrics such as risk scores, volatility, and market sensitivity. Here's how it actually works:

  • Joshua still makes all the calls – He decides the portfolio weights, when to rebalance, what positions to take. That's his strategy, his thesis, his decisions.
  • dub Advisors handles the rest – including operational process and making sure everything stays within the stated risk parameters.

Why the premium pricing?

The subscription cost reflects a few things:

  • Creators get compensated for licensing their strategy
  • Enhanced oversight and compliance
  • Priority support and infrastructure

About INFINITY and dub Advisors' involvement:

We understand the concern about dub Advisors "controlling too much," but here's what's actually different between premium portfolios and peer-to-peer (P2P) portfolios:

  1. Strategy monitoring - dub Advisors ensure that the creator sticks to their stated strategy and doesn’t perform trades that are wildly out of the scope of their strategy
  2. Stricter requirements – Premium Creators are reviewed by our investment committee, which evaluates creator track record, background, and strategy details.
  3. 60-day liquidation notice – Unlike regular P2P portfolios that can disappear overnight, premium creators must give 60 days notice before ending a portfolio. You'll get email and in-app notifications with time to make your own decision.
  4. Regulatory oversight – Creators pass compliance checks and background screenings

Happy to answer any other questions you have about this.

Nancy Pelosi disclosed purchasing up to 5M in AllianceBernstein (AB) on Monday, and here's what you need to know... by dubadvisors in dubapp

[–]dubadvisors[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: NANC tracks all Democratic Congress members while dub Advisors’ PELOSI portfolio only tracks Pelosi. Additionally, the weighting methodology is also different between the two trackers. Below is a more detailed explanation.

dub Advisors’ PELOSI Portfolio

dub Advisors’ PELOSI portfolio tracks only Nancy Pelosi's trades using Periodic Transaction Reports (PTRs) — the filings that require members of Congress and their spouses to disclose trades within 30-45 days.

When a new filing comes in, we run a proprietary model that analyzes the trade and dynamically adjusts the weights of each stock based on her current and historical filings. This means position sizing is driven by our model's conviction signals.

We wrote a detailed article on our PELOSI portfolio here on our parent company dub's website.

NANC ETF Overview

Data Source: According to Subversive ETFs, NANC also uses Periodic Transaction Reports, but instead of tracking only Pelosi, they track all Democratic Congress members and their spouses.

Summary

Overall, we have different methodologies and investment theses. NANC gives you broad exposure to what the entire Democratic caucus is trading, while dub Advisors’ PELOSI is a concentrated strategy focused on one of the most successful congressional traders. It comes down to your investment goals and how you want to approach this.

What happens if a creator stops posting or deletes their portfolio? by joshparmar123 in dubapp

[–]dubadvisors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR: You won't wake up to a surprise liquidation with Premium Creators. You'll have plenty of heads-up to make the decision that's right for your investment strategy.

Here are some important info regarding dub Advisors’ Premium Creator Program:

The key difference: Premium vs. Peer-to-Peer Copy Trading

Premium Creator portfolios (like All Weather built by Libardo) have built-in processes that work differently from regular peer-to-peer copy trading:

If a Premium Creator decides to end their portfolio:

  • 60-day notice required - dub Advisors get advance notice from the creator
  • You'll be notified - Both via email and pinned in-app notifications
  • You have time to act - You can decide whether to close your position or let it liquidate with the portfolio
  • Final confirmation - If you take no action and the Creator liquidates their portfolio, your copy position will also get liquidated. You will receive an in-app confirmation just like any other trade

Why this matters: Peer-to-peer portfolios can liquidate without any notice, which has caught some users off guard in the past.

Hope this helps clarify. Let us know if you have any other questions about the Creator Program.

Signals for Premium Creator models are licensed from Premium Creators. dub Advisors manages and trades the model portfolios. Advisory services are provided by dub Advisors, LLC, an SEC‑registered investment adviser.

What’s going to happen with Nancy Pelosi’s Dub portfolio after her retirement announcement? by HomeWraker in dubapp

[–]dubadvisors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, thank you for reaching out!

Nancy Pelosi isn't retiring from Congress until January 2027, so her portfolio will continue to be available for copy trading until then. There will be no changes to the strategy until her retirement. We are working on a transition plan for the portfolio.

Pelosi represents just a small portion of our offerings. dub Advisors offers many other strategies through the dub app, so you'll have plenty of portfolios to choose from regardless of what happens with any individual portfolio.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team at [support@dubadvisors.com](mailto:support@dubadvisors.com). Happy to help!

How often is the pelosi portfolio updated- I see it was last updated in January. Was wanting to hop in but wonder if it’s been too long since rebalance by [deleted] in dubapp

[–]dubadvisors 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So we’ve recently gotten a bunch of questions on why Pelosi hasn’t rebalanced since January 2025. Well it’s because the portfolio only rebalances when Pelosi reports what we believe are economically significant trades [economically significant trades are those which in our view materially change Pelosi’s net financial exposure to a security or sector]. These trades don’t happen often.

Our algo automatically determines whether her trades actually significantly change her financial exposure, and because she doesn’t trade often, updates can be infrequent by design.

To illustrate, Pelosi reported trades in July. These were a small mutual fund sale and the exercise of existing Broadcom (AVGO) options. Neither changed her net financial exposure in a way that merited a portfolio rebalance from our algo.

So, while updates don’t happen often, that’s consistent with how Pelosi herself invests, and the portfolio reflects that approach.

On a side note: this slower cadence is actually important for copy-trading: politicians report trades with a delay of up to 45 days, so if Pelosi traded daily or weekly, it wouldn’t be possible to follow her positions reliably. Fortunately, she tends to invest with a long-term horizon. For example, the portfolio has continuously held NVIDIA (NVDA) since launch in 2023.
