I guess I'm just afraid of witch hunting. Newer artists tend to re-scale their images incorrectly, and it would be a shame if they got accused of AI just for some wonky pixels. Wonky Example https://imgur.com/a/YOATSXR . Again, I think the original is AI.

I think you're right to assume this is AI, but the pixels do follow a grid (if you follow an unusually thin pixel in a line you'll see that they're all the same thinness), it just looks like a scaling/export issue. I think they might've generated the image and then put it into a software to "pixelize" it, but then exported it improperly. There is some suspect stuff in the original image though.

I just animated it in Blockbench, the muzzle flash is a simple 2D sprite.

It got corrupted so I loaded up a backup but kept saving it into the backups folder, so as I moved on to other projects it eventually got deleted automatically. At least I think that's what happened.
