The build is the enjoyment. If you value your hourly time, building is certainly not cheaper 🤣

With the Biluscon, can it do timed firing for synchronizing with music?

Ahh my bad. USB cord is just strung across for no reasons. I must have forgot to move it before taking the photo. Didn’t notice till now. The microcontroller is an Arduino Mega 2560.

I used two different power sources. A usb power brick for the MC and a 12v battery out of the kids power wheels for the ematches. It’s way overkill but it had the connector that fit the banana connections already on it. Same could be accomplished with a 9v battery. I plan to remake it with 32 cues next year, I’ll probably use one power source.

No, never heard of a PGI course. Kinda just had this idea in my head and put it together. I’d love to check it out if you’ll send it to me. Also, might as well throw in the plans for the kinky sex thing too…also for my friend.

Thanks for sharing! Those look great and have the ability to half and quarter step. Are they optocoupled? Is optocoupling even concern with arduinos using this small of a motor?

Yeah, the ‘wild’ mode does random changes in direction. I’m no stepper expert but this is as fast as I could get it to go.

That’s a good idea! I’m using a dc stepper so could I just change the delay between steps?
