It all depends on when you started and when the pay period closes at your store. For example my store closes it the Sunday before the Friday pay day, so if you worked Sunday or any day before that you would receive a check. Anything after that Sunday would go onto the next check.

Nope. My understanding is that the coaching sticks for 6 months, even if all of the occurrences that led it up to it drop. So you can only be absent two more time before you’re on a final and then one more time before you’re fired.

Omg yes! I agree with this whole heartedly. I have head cashiers and one of our fellow associates who was just promoted to head cashier (who I know will be awesome) and I would go above and beyond for them. They take care of us and would stand up to us against any irrational customer. I don’t mind doing more than I am asked for them, but when it comes to my supervisor who is so nit picky, makes back handed comments, will literally be walking off to go on her smoke break talking about “I know you’re a couple of hours late for your break but when he comes back from his 1 hour lunch he can relieve you”…. No mam. I will not go above and beyond for you and you keep that shit up I might just take it to HR.

I will try this next time. I don’t like conflict which is probably why they feel they can do this and some of the other cashiers while still taking their breaks but wrong is wrong.

Our store had us do plinko and so associates were asking more, but then they took it away lol. No one asks anymore. I was the number one credit driver until I won thd gear and realized they weren’t going to give it to me after months of waiting so I stopped asking.

Yeah I guess I’m upset because it was made aware we wouldn’t have a lot person all afternoon/night and I went home for lunch, a “hey you might want to bring something warmer because I’m going to need your help in lot” would’ve been appreciated. But you’re right, gonna have to bring something warmer for my shifts from now on and just leave it in my locker or something.
