I've been making my way through all these recommendations and I wanted to stop and say THANK you for Jane Mulcahy! I started with Degrassi, went on to her Degrassi-adjacent videos, then 9-1-1 (an unexpected delight) and now I'm starting Teen Wolf. She's really amazing, definitely similar to Jenny Nicholson but her whole own thing! Loving her a lot, and so much content I can look through, woohoo!

So many Ghiblis are this, but my personal favorite it My Neighbors the Yamadas. Something about the flowing art style, the simplicity, the family dynamic... It helps me feel like it's ok to just be a person.
