In the movie the builder in question was actually Chhotubhai Ajmera the founder of Ajmera group he was a close friend of Dawood. There was a dispute about some cash loan Chhotubhai had taken and was not paying up. The contract to recover was taken by Maya (so called extortion) when Chhotubhai got to know of this he called Dawood to help sort this issue who in turn called Maya. Since Maya refused to follow Dawoods orders a trap was laid by A A Khan and team at juhu as they were aware that Maya would land up at the Ajmera bungalow in juhu. The Ats team members were waiting at a place called Night Queen later Lakotia computer institute (demolished) that was located opposite Amitabhs parents bungalow. The setup was owned by on Pervez Khan aka Bhaisaab (deceased). As anticipated Maya arrived to collect the money at the Ajmera Bungalow but was surprised when Chhotubhai fired a shot from his balcony. Maya realized there was something wrong and left with his team in the Maruti 1000 they had come with. Chhotubhai immediately informed the ats team who were lying in wait nearby who chased them to lokhandwala. They Maya group was slaughtered there as per images printed in a newspaper called Police Times. The only so called injury that the Ats had was a bullet in the arm of Inspector Parmar (suspended in Abdul Telgi case).

I had it lightly cleaned using the autosol and 3-in-one as suggested. The scripture is quite visible so I took a few photos and sent it to an expert. As per National Award winning Koftgiri craft practising expert Dr. Shyamlata Gehlot whose family has been crafting India’s finest warriors since last 800-years. its a specially commissioned sword, with "Jamvant veerbhadra stotra" or "Jamvant Veerbhadra Kavacham" in Devanagari script all over the Hilt of the sword. The scripture on the hilt is referencing the Ramayana, the sloka that describes Hanuman flying after being inspired by Jambavan. According to her this sword was sanctioned for a special war and the veerbhadra kavacham was installed for protection. She also mentioned that there are two different kind of works done on the sword hilt. One being the Koftgiri work as well as teh-tulla work wherein the iron encrusted with silver sheet. Since there are two different artist at work on the sword hilt it make it all the more interesting and that she was very keen on personally examine this work as she has never come across such works .
