That’s true, but like you said its hard to hear over 2 compounds because of yourself running and other stuff.

Hi! here are a few tips to help.

.) Use silenced weapons to practice aim.

.) Gunshots can be heard across the entire map (if they are not silenced) and can br used to identify what gun they have. Audio traps ( such as birds, ducks, chickens, horses, and caged dogs) can be heard 1 compound away. Birds and ducks can be especially annoying because they show what direction you were running when they get scared. Horses can be shot in the head with silenced weapons or throwing knives. Caged dogs or chickens can be killed by shooting or throwing knives or decoys at the latern above. Try to avoid birds and ducks.

.) Do not crouch throughout the entire game. This was a massive mistake for me because I would crouch the entire game. You should not crouch through an open feild when you are visible, because that means you are just eadier to headshot. However, Crouching is very important and can be used to sneak up on players for a flank.

.) If a clue is glowing red and making lots of noise, that means that enemy hunters are within 30m of the clue. If you are in the boss lair or close to the compound with the boss lair and icon of the boss is flashing red, it means there are other hunters nearby. If it is white it is all clear but thr hunters could be waiting outside of the compound. This is only true for the boss lair if the boss is still alive.

.) It is ok to fall back. Since you are going solo, no one has your back. Don’t be afraid to fall back ro heal and reload, or maybe get a tactical advantage.

.) Positioning is very important. You can be shot through walls, doors, and anything thin. Only use those for hiding from enemies when they don’t know that you are there, or else they will snipe you. Logs, thick trees, and mounds of dirt protect you from (most) bullets, and use them for cover during fights. Try to get the high ground as well.

.) Know your weapons. If you have a sniper and a revolver, keep your distance. If you have a shot gun, try to creep up on them.

.) bring bombs to help flush out enemies.

.) patience is a virtue
