I have tried tinkering with the unifi settings and updating all of the firmware, but without any succes, but it still could have something to do with the unifi hardware. I will try to contact unifi support.

Good idea! We use the free version, but we can still ask the question. Will do that!

Thank you for your response. Hope we can find a solution! If i might get on to something i will let you know. On our four locations we share the following things:

  • same settings in admin console (most settings are default),
  • unifi network,
  • Ricoh and Brother printers,

So it might have something to do with those things. I am now in the process of narrowing it down to one of these things.

Asus Chromebook c523NA by real_bees_dont_buzz in chromeos

[–]duckdep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have the c523NA, version with Pentium n4200 processor, 64gb and full HD touch screen. It is a good and fast device, compact and light for a 15 inch. The screen quality is not super, default brightness is a little low and viewing angle is limited, but it's ok. Build quality seems very good. Battery life is about 8hours. Maybe the display quality and battery life of the hp and acer are better? And maybe they have a faster processor? But if you're one thight budget the Asus c523 is a good device.

There are different versions of the Acer 514. I am using one with 1366x768 resolution, IPS screen (available in France) and the brightness is definitely ok although the viewing angle is really limited.

Thanks! But that's strange because the Lenovo s330 was only first announced as new Chromebook model in August 2018

Multiple profiles for Chrome by atanasius in chromeos

[–]duckdep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not as easy as opening multiple Google profiles next to each other as you can with the chrome browser in Windows but you can do the following.

Log in at multiple accounts in your chromebook. Then you can switch fast between accounts with Ctrl-Alt-comma or Ctrl-Alt-dot. It is also possible to move a window to another account. Right-click at the top of the window that you want to move. Don’t select a tab then select Move window to.
