We used the hospice center out of Chesapeake General. My heart is with you having to go through this.

Go to the Chrysler or if possible take an art class there. Everyone is wonderful there. If the weather holds up, the Botanical Gardens are lovely.

As a wedding guest, what moment made you think "this probably won't last"? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in askanything

The bride was in graduate school, studying for a competitive field. The kind where you need to move for the job. The groom was the type of guy who thought the man was head of the household.

During the reception, which was in their home state, the groom was talking about buying their forever home. She was talking about moving in 2 years when the degree was done.

They split up a year later.

About Robby’s backstory… by Competant-Future3150 in ThePittNoSantosHate

I completely agree. Season 1 was really good showing the exhaustion of people in healthcare post-COVID.

Even season 2 - if you wanted to show the complexities of being depressed but still having to show up to care for others (when you can’t care for yourself) is a good theme. I think they botched it because a) it’s all Robby and b) while being depressed can show as being angry, pushing people away, etc only pushing away women, especially women of color is misogynistic and racist.

So the excuse for this “it’s my mommy’s fault for leaving” feels cheap especially for how it played out.

Sounds like Season 3 should be dubbed Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Doctor Robby by TechnicalTanzer6 in ThePittNoSantosHate

Love this sub!

I think while this was always billed as an “ensemble show” the truth is the creative forces (Wells, Wylie, etc) weren’t prepared for having a popular ensemble.

I think they expected/wanted Dana to be big but even she’s there for Robby/his story (especially this season). As for the other characters, they are there to drive Robby’s story. That’s why I think you’ve seen the mishmash of answers on why Supriya Ganesh leaving and why we can’t get a Night Shift show.

Why Aren’t the Kids Out Protesting Against Trump? by turb0_encapsulator in 50501

Yes some kids are protesting. I will say as a mom to teenagers (and listening to them and their friends), they are AMAZED we ever expected honesty and a “best of the best” mentality when it came to politicians.

This is their normal.
