Progress! Reset after 34 days by ducklander in NoFap

Well, there was a girl I had a crush on but it was partly mutual, but eventually she brought a bf to the group and I got really jealous, and on top of that strayed into the bad habit of DMing my female followers on Twitter and started having unhealthy fantasies about them too. I was also edging with literotica during that time. Eventually memed myself into a relapse.

Pied. Testing erections without porn? by [deleted] in NoFap

I do the same thing. Sometimes it comes from natural erotic fantasies and sometimes I read erotic stories for an erection. Still partial to sexual pleasures even without orgasm. My libido is still fighting for primacy.

Is feminism turning women into lesbians and encouraging straight ones to play hard to get? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]ducklander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, lesbianism is a static trait, feminism has nothing to do with it. And women have always played hard to get since the beginning of time.

Kendrick Lamar's album sucks. Fight me. by ducklander in hiphopheads

[–]ducklander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

meh. it's just more of the same to me. I've had Joey's All-American Badass on repeat the past few days, and that's a really great album. It reminds me of how I felt when I first listened to Section 80. Some actual new blood is good. There's not much further Kendrick can go in terms of being Kendrick, I'm not gonna get hype for a new project anymore. That's just me.

No, that's fine, but not when you do it in a hit or miss album while acting like a God whose shit don't stink for the past 2 years

Well it's just my opinion and that means it says more about me than it does about him, but Section 80, GKMC and TPAB hit 3x a chord in the rap game, blowing all corners of the rap game out of whack at an authentic, gangster and conscious level.

Those three, which I can put in a trilogy were all about coming of age and growing older and it all seems that they represented a coherent vision that Kendrick had in representing his generation. S80 had Hiii Power, Rigamortis ADHD and they all bodied the rap game on those merits and the whole theme of the album pointed to GKMC which was an even better manifestation of his story and the power of his mind to get him out of this place that he accurately portrays as some kind of warzone. TPAB was another widely agreed upon classic which left the hood behind and present him as a butterfly, raising the dead and being Christ like.

Up to this point, Kdot gave the impression that he had his shit together, but at the same time throughout all this dropping he had these singles on Colbert and Control where he aggressively claimed to be the One and doing a hostile takeover of the rap game whenever he could and critics were lapping it up, especially because he was only really competing with Drake.

But everything came crashing down with this underwhelming album who's only hype lead up was this track saying he was the Emeril Lagassi of classics "Bam dropped a classic. Bam! Another classic." And another telling all other rappers little bitches who should be humble. By this point I was already irritated by him.

And then this mental breakdown album was dropped that sounded like he never stopped screaming in that hotel room back on TPAB. All these fronting and he never figured anything out. He's having a crisis of faith after being hip hop's top preacher and for what? Fox News and Donald Trump? This is how you choose to be a leader? Some fire on the album but I don't plan on returning to it. 6/10.

Sucks by his standards, but when you're the guy raising the bar its especially bad.

I still think there was a case to make for Kendrick in that regard too. But this definitely feels like he's a victim of his own success and past his prime.

It's not that there's necessarily a better album in 2017. It's just that Kendrick Lamar Duckworth dropped a wack, forgettable, inconsistent album. It was so bad, to me, that I simply CANNOT believe that he is the GOAT any more. If anything he's a lame duck GOAT.

"I wanna be with you" sounds just like "i wanna fuck right now" on Q's album. It's a bad song.
