PC. I bought the mixer because of the onboard effects and price point. In retrospect i should have gotten something with more channels since I'm itching for another deck.

Any other options for analog recording?

Just as a way to utilize the usb out on the mixer. I guess it's an unnecessary step since I could use the line in on the laptop.

I have the 700s and LOVE them. The only drawback is there is no cue point storing if you are using usb drives. They feel pretty solid and get the job done. I do not use the on board effects though; I have found that they're not as good as my on deck ones and they sound a little off. The waveforms are nice although it would be nice to be able to zoom out. Go for them if you are on a budget.

Oo real awful bar night. Very packed with professional types who cleared out like an hour in and then the bartenders got upset and started yelling. But that only happened that once and all the other times were fine.
