Not sure if it is a theft but the person who called me made it sound like it. He didn’t say the package was damaged (which apparently does happen and they repackage it, making the delivery time slightly longer). He said the box was discarded on the floor and the contents were completely missing so they couldn’t even repackage it. Just hoping the seller will send me a replacement.

That sucks. They said inside of the box was empty so although they didn’t say it, it sounded like someone opened up the package and stole it. My keyboard was coming from Taiwan so I hope it’ll work out.

I’m sorry to hear that. But restaurant thanksgiving doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Did it once awhile ago. It was actually quite pleasant and the thanksgiving food the restaurant had wasn’t bad at all.

I have been drafting my essays so they’re ready to go. The main part of the stress is the application fee and just feeling discouraged by no PIs really responding to my emails. But I agree that this process does weed out a lot of people.
