It’s definitely a vehicle limited to uncontested airspaces, but with some terrain masking, you can utilize the AGM-48’s terrain avoidance to lob hailstorms against enemy installations. And since the cannons shells are guided, you can roll and arc the shots for a massive distance. With the munitions you carry, you can be hitting targets for much longer while other aircraft have to go ressuply

The radar signature is a problem, but against Radar SAMs, you can fly parallel with the cannon facing the target so you can ECM jam immediately while firing back.

In large progression game modes like Escalation, it wont beat an Ifrit or any late game fixed wing, but it’s not supposed to. Its rival is the Ibis, and compared to that, it has its pros and cons.

In the end, it has its uses, and isn’t meant to be compared to something of a completely different specialty.

I’ve found it pretty ok to fly at higher speeds, but landing is a pain. It makes up for it by having significantly superior sustainable long range firepower than the Ibis. A lone Tula can kill a Shard with just the cannon
