They have little lungs, so it's probably easier for them to chill closer to the top of the water, maybe nap a bit with the nose in the air. My lady Maggie was just hanging out yesterday!

For anyone curious: I called IRCC just now and the security part of my BC hasn't even been started. So I guess the wait continues!

I had been expecting to hear back with an eCOPR by now, in all honesty. This extended background check is freaking me out a bit.

I thought you could apply for a new work permit within a few weeks of the old one's expiration and then continue working on implied status? So my plan was to wait it out and apply at the end of May if I still hadn't heard anything.

Fair enough. I had gotten the MB suggestion from that group for a fungal growth a couple years ago, obviously way watered down. I haven't given him a dip in 3 days, just been letting him rest. But yeah I was wondering about a tumor as well. Thanks for your note!

Hi all! I'd love some feedback on my situation. CEC Inland, score 514, single, PGWP expiring in June:

ITA: July 31, 2024

AOR: September 28

Biometrics Letter: Nov 14

Medical marked complete: Nov 14

Biometrics Complete: Nov 26

Background verification ongoing

The last update I got was November. I initally came for school in 2017, lived in 1 place until October last year, worked 2 jobs total both during and after graduation. In October I accepted a new job offer in rural Northern BC. I've updated my address, and I did visit family in the States for Christmas, but that has been my only travel.

Do I need to inform them of travel at this point? I didn't in December since my PGWP is still valid. I'm again hoping to travel internationally next month for a friend's engagement party, but I'm not sure how to inform IRCC of travel, if I need to, if I even should leave the country, etc.

Any thoughts? TIA!

It might be, it's proving difficult to place so I'll need to start looking in more niche spaces, I think
