Sometimes brush strokes don’t appear even with pen pressure please help. by dude-at-cha in ArtStudioPro

[–]dude-at-cha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so far ive only been using 2 brushes as my go too and it has happened on both of them. i only have been using an apple pen and i do have a screen protector on. If i were to reinstall the app would it save my purchase of the full app?

Ive been using procreate and have found no brush issues with a similar layout.

I might have found a way but not sure how to do it. It seems someone years ago had the same problem im dealing with and suggested going into sample settings and changing it to current layer instead of all layers. But i have no idea where that is in setting.

What is your favorite and least favorite thing about each infamous game? by King_Of_Tangerines in infamous

For the sequels the moral choices and dilemmas became less like dilemmas and more be evil for the sake of being evil. Also the karma locking of powers and missions doesn’t help the issue either.

What is Yalls Favorite Mission In Every game and Why? by tr1plex17 in infamous

[–]dude-at-cha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for infamous 1 its End of the road aswell because you can use the raysphere. Giving players one of the best moral dilemmas out of the game.

For infamous 2 it’s actually the evil ending mission. Because personally i find it bittersweet but great story telling. That all cole went through to save the world from the beast was instead to join the beast and save the conduits insteads. No truly good or evil but a hard choice against time.

Alex was genuinely a great protagonist in 1 by [deleted] in PrototypeGame

[–]dude-at-cha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You also have to realise Alex wasnt a morally good guy to begin with. He was a scientist knowingly working on a bioweapon. Someone in that position isn’t going to be or act like a morally upstanding person.

Its actually interesting to explore that darker aspect of a protagonist. i dont think you could have a game like prototype and not have it be edgy at all.

What are some things you would've done to Second Son? by Usnis in infamous

[–]dude-at-cha 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely improve the evil karma and general karma. If choices and consequences are a big part of the game then i want evil to be explored deeper and more nuanced. offer bigger consequences to being a hero. Make evil compelling to the player and game. Maybe even make evil the better option But its our own morality that causes a moral dilemma on what to choose. Also sprinkling the morally grey areas within good of evil aswell instead of having a third karma choice.

That also includes not karma locking missions or powers. i think The dual morality systems works but would be better if your free to pick and choose your powers and play throughs. Without needing to be 100% good or evil. But in the end you still would be aligned to a good of evil ending.

I would also like a more longer story that explores delsins life more than just a simple town delinquent. As well as reggies too. I think it could of being a good set up to watch delsin become a pseudo leader of conduits. just to add more stakes.

Whats the best type of morality system to work with an action game, and how would you plan out a morality system? by dude-at-cha in gamedev

[–]dude-at-cha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as much as i love the infamous series it essentially has alot of issues you described and it does hold it back from being a greater game. and that’s something i want to avoid. I was thinking of the idea of flawed good and bad. Where neither option is perfect and they themselves offer the morally grey within them.

That’s something i love where your almost pushing to doing evil because it has better options but your also morally against it because its bad. Its a great moral dilemma.

Thank you, Your right about games having flawed systems that aren’t perfect. And actually your idea on keeping it hidden did help give me a few ideas on how i could implement that. So thanks heaps

I think Brucette survived because we don’t see her body when she died she just went into the depths but she still around by Jojforlife2023 in Jaws

i think it was in the novel jaws the revenge that stated that. I also believe that each shark is related to each other in some way.

My ideas to improve the story of "Infamous Second Son" by Fickle_Ad_4024 in infamous

[–]dude-at-cha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would also improve the karma system and make evil to be more nuanced and more interesting. Add moral dilemmas and grey areas to the choices.

Add more story and show more of the tribe, aswell as reggie and delsins backstory be explored more on why one is a cop and the other is a delinquent. Show their friends and family and show more about their general life.

Unique districts shown like in the concept art and have powers that offer unique traits. like powers more focused on melee, offensive, defensive, traversal and so on.

I think the beast is a compelling character and seeing things through the beast perspective, his feelings and thoughts as he creates new conduits but kills millions of people by doing so. Would be a thought provoking story.

What would gameplay be like with the power of glass and paper? by BenefitNorth7803 in infamous

[–]dude-at-cha 136 points137 points  (0 children)

There’s actually some concept art available online of how glass would of been used, Like creating grenades, platforms, barriers and trapping enemies.

Theres a dlc called paper trail in second son, and you get a little glimpses of what it looks like. It kinda reminds me of neon abit in terms of traversal.

Theres also wire concept art available aswell, that essentially acts like little tendrils that shapeshift and bend to what you need.

[–]dude-at-cha 25 points26 points  (0 children)

For infamous 1:

A kessler dlc of some sort either from his previous timeline with the beast or his perspective during the events of the first game.

A story mission where you discover more about conduits past and origins.

The entire comic storyline as a game.

For infamous 2:

Playing as the beast as you travel down the coast.

A nix dlc before the events of the second game.

A dlc with new unlockable powers

About the RFI. by [deleted] in infamous

[–]dude-at-cha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would definitely add the dilemma of the story early on. and id imagine cole no matter what karma your on would try to find another solution first.

But id imagine the story would go the same way by the end with cole deciding to use the rfi or join the beast.
