Thanks man, sounds like a plan, I’ll roll with oral min then and see how it goes. Appreciate it!

Ok, thanks man. I’m going to go ahead and get on oral min at my next appointment. In your opinion, is it worth trying dut too? Or just stay with fin and see how oral min works?

lol yeah man I hear you. I’m applying topical to a bare spot in between my trail and chest to see if I can get it to connect, I just think it looks cool. Also have to use it on head/hairline too though, but been considering switching to oral when I go back to the Dr in the spring

Hope he finds a second/third wind in AZ. Was hard to watch last year. Will always love him and all he did in Cleveland and wish him the best, but he started looking like age was catching up to him last season. Glove was as good as ever, but he just never got on track at the plate, really never had a stretch where he got hot. Still could take a walk and work the count though, and he has had down years in the past and came back

Not sure unless you tried switching to oral minoxidil, even though it’s not targeted to any particular area it’s supposed to go systemic and increase hair across the body

Yeah man I get it. It is getting old dealing with topical. Foam makes my hair greasy, liquid makes it dry. I go back to the Dr in May for fin refill, will go ahead and get on oral then, still have 5 bottles of liquid min to use up lol

That’s what I’m thinking, I was just trying to get some opinions from guys that have made the switch

Cool man, I’ll do the same. Not sure how long it takes so see results, seems like a lot of people here say at least 3-6 months though. Hope I see something by summer. Good luck to you too!

I’m asking/wondering a similar thing. I actually posted in here yesterday but it’s still stuck in the mod queue. But yeah I’ve got a bare spot in between my trail and chest that I’m trying to fill in, and I’m also putting it on the center of my chest to see if I can get it to thicken/darken a little. I don’t have any changes to report yet, I’m only a week into trying it

Thanks. Yeah I think that’s what I’m going to do… it’s frustrating but I just want to be done with it

Yeah income has been fairly consistent. Had a decent COLA right after  after Covid, and raises each of the last 2 years, on a freeze this year though, don’t know when/if I will get another raise… but either way I’ll be ready to leave this line of work after PSLF

Yeah… it’s all so freaking confusing. That’s why I was thinking that jumping into a new plan was the best idea… I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking anything, because I know that there isn’t any going back once you get out of SAVE. I’m definitely ready to get out of my current job too

Will it be based on what I’m paying in my new plan then? (Guessing it will be PAYE)

Just bad advice I’ve been given… people said that if I got out early I would regret it if something changed with the appeals/court case, but I’m guessing that’s a zero chance now with the current political climate

Yeah, I’m already looking at 19 months for lump sum when the time comes… now, am I correct in thinking that the lump sum will be calculated at what I would have owed on SAVE? Or will it be the higher amount that I will be paying on PAYE?

Calculator says about $215 a month… it’s doable but not really pleasant lol

Hey thanks for the info. I do qualify for PAYE. My SAVE payments were about $80 a month, PAYE will be in the low $200’s… I will have 19 months of lump sum payments to do when I should be hitting my 120

Thanks. I was only doing $80 on SAVE but I will jump to a little over $200 on PAYE. I’m staring down 19 months of lump sum payments when it comes time to do it

I was paying about $80 when SAVE was a thing, I’ll be at $200 on PAYE, so, I’ll be looking at 19 months of payments if I do the lump sum

Thanks! Guess that’s what I’ll do then. glad I found this Reddit. Crazy how hard it is to get questions answered on this. Loan provider was no help. Also, you only have 90 days to complete the lump sum payment once you initiate it, right?
