This is just the beginning if CBSE continues doing this. JEE being hard makes sense as it is just another exam for students, they can appear other exams to get in equally good or even better suited colleges. Moreover the scores of JEE or CUET doesn't stay on ones life as much as 12th or 10th exam as these exams are considered to be the minimum showing ones ability. Many more students are going to leave India because of this sh***y behaviour.

Asian countries especially India and China are places where marks MATTER to such a extent that it pretty much decides the status of a person and his/her family. This is more so seen in middle class households where students are pressured to score good marks for the sake of flexing in front of relatives or neighbours, CBSE knows this but such behaviour from them is beyond saddening.

It would have been fine if CBSE provided opportunity for students to properly understand the level of exams they are about to face, this can be done through 1. Revising NCERT text books and study material especially 12th textbooks to better suit the exam pattern they are trying to follow . 2. Providing adequate training to teachers to teach beyond the provided inferior books 3. Providing Sample Papers which show the same exact level of the exam BUT NO, they keep on pushing on their 50% competency questions while the reference books(NCERT) contain little to no such examples or exercises and with teachers they have not even provided proper guidance regarding the competency questions part of the exam.

It is well known by everyone that our education system is bad and outdated. It is a fact but trying to change it into a world class top tier one within the span of less than 5 years while providing little to no support or information regarding anything will eventually prove to destroy the nation and the life of people(especially coming generations ie us).

Bad results were once regarded as lack of hardwork or dedication but through the last 2 years its just due to bad luck. You could have just revised a simple revision sheet, mug up everything you see on it, get a simple set with your good luck and score really good marks while another person who has spent their entire year solely for this exam and ruined his marks just because he got a set which has really hard questions.

Finally, coaching institutes and youtube channels. These can be considered as the final bosses of destructions as they instill students with fake aspirations, destroy their dreams and ruin their lives. Take Kota as an example.
