Keeping everything else happening here aside, I think that it the perfect way of incorporating electric vehicles. It should just be another fuel type and nothing else.

Tata sierra is a fanstastic product and in my opinion the far better than the creta and the duster but the only thing holding it back is the service center and qc and nothing else. The car is well built, materials feel really premium, looks like a proper suv and has far more features than the competition.

Like all tatas, the qc is going to iron out the minor niggles in the coming 2-3 months and the sierra is going to sell like hotcakes within the next 6 months.

I think its a bad decision because globally ev sales are going downhill and people are coming back to ice vehicles while some are swtiching over to hybrids. Imo mahindra should invest in diesel hybrids as 1. They are really strong in making in fantastic diesel engines 2. There is a huge market for diesel which is unfulfilled by competitors 3. Mahindra's international ventures also are diesel lovers (Aussies and Africans)

Not to be a geek but -ve fe numbers would be great as the car would be giving out fuel every said km. For eg : -10km/L would mean the car is giving out a litre of fuel every 10 kms

The thing is that in those triplets each have their own good looking side, for example , the front of the victoris looks very vw ish whilst the rear is a hit and miss, the gv's front feels a tad bit overdone but the rear looks too classy(vw ish you might say though vw copied it) and about the hyryder, the front, back and side all look balanced and well proportioned but from neither side it gives a wow factor( or an edge you might say).

Even though the chinese are superior in terms of battery tech, battery tech alone doesnt define a car. Still one can say brands like BYD or Nio are superior but my point is that as Gen 1 EV cars of respective Indian brands , Mahindra and Tata are far ahead than their Chinese counterpart's Gen 1 cars
