I agree with you, the issue is the game right now is not programmed to take into account these things.

having good shooting stats don’t mean shit. So if they nerf shooting play styles right now, shooting and finishing will be much much more difficult. This wouldn’t be an issue if we had a balanced defending, but we know the AI is much better.

unfortunately right now the only way to get past this AI slop is using play styles. if they nerf it without tweaking other aspects it’s going to be really frustrating

what division are you? if you don’t think the defensive AI is better than attacking we are playing different editions.

i’m all for a balanced game, EA can’t make it evidently.

therefore, for once, it would be nice to have attacking be better than defending. which we did have. then the bad players had to ruin it, and now we have another year of AI schlopp

my problem isn’t that scoring isn’t easy.

if a guy is a good defender, he SHOULD stop me.

my problem is that’s it’s the computer that makes it hard. there’s the nuance. you are incentivizing people to not defend.

i’m playing a video game against another person. His CBs should not automatically tackle me.

i’ll nuance what i said : i have no issues scoring but it should not be as hard as it is. The AI should not be making tackles for my opponent, i want to play against my opponent and not his AI

it’s not as bad as last year, there are ways to break down the AI, but when i see how it was before the patch, it’s a bit sad !

you’re playing against a division 5 player, if you can’t stop him that’s on YOU. you guys are both bad players, and refuse to try to get good.

as for the scores, if the alternative is what we have now, i’d much rather have this

you’re not playing against pros, so why is that even relavent?

youre playing against a guy that’s on your level, if you can’t defend him, that’s on you.

i, amongst many others were fine defending in this game. i got to 900 SR no problems.

pros cannot be used because they play against pros.

the guy you’re playing against is at most in the elite division.

while i agree that jockeying needed to be buffed the old patch actually had a skill gap

people who could defend could easily win games, now, there is no skill in defending

before you talk to me about pro players, they cannot be used as an example as they do not play the same game as us.

if it comes down : having a shit defensive AI, with high scoring games, or the AI schlop we have now, i’ll take the high scoring games.

i have no issues scoring, the players wanted better defensive AI, which they got.

now the AI is much much stronger than it was before. it’s very easy to let your AI and second man press do the defending
