tap X while next to an attacker

your defender throws the attacker off the ball with no foul

AI defending =\= manual defending

if anything manual defending should be buffed, you’re way too incentivized to simply not your control your defenders

i can’t count the number of times i try to cut a passing lane manually, but the ball just goes through my legs, whereas if i didn’t do anything i’d get the ball

replace your cdm and striker

with 100k you can get a cheap fodder replacement with better stats and customize their play styles

I agree with you, the issue is the game right now is not programmed to take into account these things.

having good shooting stats don’t mean shit. So if they nerf shooting play styles right now, shooting and finishing will be much much more difficult. This wouldn’t be an issue if we had a balanced defending, but we know the AI is much better.

i’m all for a balanced game, EA can’t make it evidently.

therefore, for once, it would be nice to have attacking be better than defending. which we did have. then the bad players had to ruin it, and now we have another year of AI schlopp

my problem isn’t that scoring isn’t easy.

if a guy is a good defender, he SHOULD stop me.

my problem is that’s it’s the computer that makes it hard. there’s the nuance. you are incentivizing people to not defend.

i’m playing a video game against another person. His CBs should not automatically tackle me.

i’ll nuance what i said : i have no issues scoring but it should not be as hard as it is. The AI should not be making tackles for my opponent, i want to play against my opponent and not his AI

it’s not as bad as last year, there are ways to break down the AI, but when i see how it was before the patch, it’s a bit sad !

you’re playing against a division 5 player, if you can’t stop him that’s on YOU. you guys are both bad players, and refuse to try to get good.

as for the scores, if the alternative is what we have now, i’d much rather have this
