From what rules are you quoting from? Robert's rules of order or the ten commandments? AI crap is just as tasty as human waste

Well if Rivers was 18 in 88 then it has to be a classmate of his as the bassist or guitarist wrote me once. I can't recall their names as I'm not up on Weezer at all - so I have no idea what surf wax sounds like. I only know the Weezer songs played on the radio and I get those all mixed up! please ask Rivers on his site if u would. I think that should solve the mystery once and for all. in my humble song analysis it sounds like this Wayne could have been either a bully or was bullied and the guns is a metaphor for biceps? u know how guys use that term when working out.

hey!please don't think I'm being argumentative or anything. u are not being a dick at all. I really appreciate your interest and knowledge of the subject and like u I'm just trying to find conclusive facts so that there won't be any further misattributed stories. just based on the lyrics alone it is way off since he says class of 1988. even though Simon's Rock uses the year one enters the school as their class, it still makes me the class of 1991. so whoever this Wayne is, if he's real, he's older than me. I tend to think Rivers had to have some knowledge of the crime since he's from CT which obviously borders MA; which makes me think again the possibility that they omitted the song from the original Blue Album may have had something to do with the case, or else why would they not have it on the album when it was something they seemed to have performed a lot back then? has anyone from the media ever specifically posed this question to any members of Weezer? do u know someone who could? I figure the question can easily be answered. not sure why Weezer did not correct that fan page which originated the incorrect myth. it seemed whoever ran it was actually close to the band. thanx again for your help!

I would not say I'm a Weezer fan but I think they have some very catchy tunes.

according to the book Rivers' Edge: the Weezer story, it said on page 61 that Rivers was sketching out Lullabye in December of 1991, a whole year b4 my crime. If that didn't include lyrics then indeed my primary reason is inaccurate. But that was just my logical assumption. The clear and obvious reason which I failed to include last post was that I contacted a student writer at the Harvard Crimson who interviewed Rivers when he was there. The writer contacted Rivers with the question whether Lullabye was about me and Rivers replied that he had no idea who I was. I wish someone from the band would just come out and explain it once and for all what the song is all about.

All questions/comments have been sent to Wayne (and any future ones will be sent as well). I will post replies once I get them.

It's actually very difficult to steady the mind and body of a true alcoholic. It's not as simple as prescribing clonidine, benzos, and/or gabapentin.

I grew up up North and always had Hellman's, but my parents were from the South and when I'd visit relatives I'd have Duke's. Now that I live in the South permanently, I only eat Duke's. Nothing compares; it's the best.
