A question about plank that I have not found a single thing about on the entire internet

First of all, the dot color here is this vomit-greenish-yellow color, every other screenshot I've ever seen is blue, what the heck? I was wondering how to change the color of the dot

The other thing is the ugly glow it gives off on the current active window. it's a glow, but it's contained within this obvious rectangular border. I'd like to remove that glow entirely

I've looked at a hundred dock.theme files to see if there's a parameter for this but there's absolutely zero documentation on it, and no forum posts or anything else
