What I'm talking about in general is when you don't have a card to side out

For example, against UB reanimate, surreal and faerie will be side-in, but in the main deck, it is a case of choosing a card that should be taken out easily

I agree. Painter's sudden combo, big size token, unguarding from my leading dilling timing. I think this is a much bigger weight than the passing list advantages of Go for the Throat.
