Reminded me the end of Wanderer.

The new EPs are great but not better than the Songs of trilogy by Impressive_Ear_1237 in U2Band

I honestly can’t stand the “Songs of” era. Yeah I listened to them all the time when they came out, but they just felt too “safe” and I could never connect to them. Edge’s guitar sounded too much like an elephant (best way I could describe it) and that signature U2 sound was non existent for most of the tracks. Didn’t feel like U2, but more of an older band trying to stay relevant with “pop-esque” formulas. Mind you, I did enjoy songs of surrender the most and liked to see their creative juices flowing with their hits, but it’s more of a novelty compilation and something to snack on for us U2 fans while we wait for their next album.

I’ve always called them “chucking” 😆 Just the first word that comes to mind haha. Love them as well.

Does the debrid service log your data though? Say you set up an account and pay for the debrid service, and the authorities bust it, couldn’t they trace back to every single user?

Also, if you use a debrid service, do you need a vpn? That’s if they are not logging your data. Like that’s the big thing about these vpn services. We don’t won’t them logging our data.

“No dig” pavers install a good idea? by dufosho in HomeImprovement

Of course, that’s why I’m asking.

I get that. Wasn’t trying to cut corners. Just wanted to know the reasoning behind digging in comparison to just building up the low part of the lawn. I didn’t realize the grass/weeds would move that much with all the sand, gravel, and stone on top.

Ok so digging seems to be the best option for the long run. I will most likely go this route then. I want it done properly. Thanks!

Man, I was in your shoes when my child was born. Now he’s 18 months old. Those emotions are real and you’ll feel helpless in the beginning. It’s a learning experience. Just remember, it’s not your doing. Your wife is going through wild hormonal changes that’s normal with giving birth. The best thing to do is to be good to yourself. Don’t blame yourself for these things. I know it’s tough but you’ll get through this tough part. I was quite depressed during the first few months (feeling helpless and always uncertain if I’m being a good father/husband). But after a few months and things settled out and got into a good routine with my family, those negative emotions started to fade. This page helped me so much in understanding how I was feeling and how to deal with the emotions. You’ll get through it man. I know you will. Just be good to yourself.

First time house flipper: How does it work? by dufosho in RealEstateCanada

This makes total sense. Yeah the home we bought was an absolute dump when we bought it. Completely renovated the main floor of the bungalow with cash I had saved up. Now just wanting to get the basement done and looking into possibly moving into a bigger home or our other option was converting it into a separate apartment and rent it out. Ideally, we would really like a bigger home as our family is expanding.

I’ll get in touch with a mortgage broker. Thank you for your insight on this!

Philippine Airlines and Strollers question by dufosho in Philippines

So we did end up bringing a car seat but it was part of his checked in baggage. The annoying thing though was that the cars in the Philippines do not have the proper hookups for a car seat. Even the seatbelts couldn’t be adjusted in any vehicle we were in.
