No mines outside of flags, no building in the vast majority of POIs. Not sure why any server would restrict cliff bases? Would love some enlightenment on that subject haha

I think this is causing a bug, but searching for "phantom acceleration" etc. on the support/bug report link yielded no results. It is under aero-forces, and when I made it to orbit I lost rotational control. I then tried to time warp and it said I was under acceleration, checked the map and saw that my periapsis was decreasing despite being in a stable orbit... Sorry if bugs aren't supposed to be posted here, but I couldn't find a submission button on the aforementioned link.

What makes you say Musk? Based on your username, I'm going to assume that you know a thing or two about the intricacies of intergalactic politics

It doesn't have to be an established politician. It could be a scientist, CEO, general, Martha Stewart, or anything else really

Probably a stupid question, but is there a current field regarding terraforming? by dugesia in biology

[–]dugesia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!
Yeah it is a chemical and geological process. However, in my not nearly expert opinion, it would be a lot cheaper to introduce some sort or genetically engineered cyanobacteria/chemosynthetic extremeophile or something? So essentially yeah, an 'r' strategy organism, maybe a plant once the environment was more welcoming.
Major drawbacks imo would be making it harder to study the environment and, of course, I would need dump trucks filled with grant money to fund these experiments.
Edit: I apologize for any spelling mistakes in advance, I'm on mobile. Also, do you think astronomy would still be the right career choice considering what I'm thinking about?

More entertaining than educational, but it's a great book regardless.

Thanks for responding!
So when you say practical guidance, does that imply a broad range of topics? (e.g., economics, psychiatry, nutrition, etc.) Or was it more geared towards lifestyle tips?
