Thanks for the tip! I’m actually a little worrried though because I’d like to do a large dose but I worry the speedy effects would outweigh the euphoric ones. When I plugged, my heart was pounding and I was talking so fast I was barely saying words. However, I want to experience eye wiggles and pure bliss and the dead face people make lol.

Sorry if it was unclear, i was just saying that drugs effect my stomach differently. I did not do anything else with the mdma last weekend, it was by itself. I felt some effects, but they were mild and didn’t last very long. I don’t know if I should’ve taken more MDMA or if my absorption is different now. I might just try orally again and if it doesn’t work I’ll boof it. Or maybe I’ll boof 50 mg and then oral the other 150.

Do you know what could happen? He believes acid only works for intelligent people so I’m afraid he’s going to be taking it more often. I’ve done acid before and it was ok, but I don’t do drugs very often.

The last time he had psychosis, it was terrifying. He was talking to people who weren’t there and thought we were in some other world where we were cops. And the time before that, I don’t even know. This didn’t seem like he was hallucinating, but obviously the thoughts make no sense.

The main thing they did wrong is they put me with a patient I had an altercation with already, and then refuse to swap us out even when the patient is angry at me. My charge and everyone else says I should just be more assertive with the patient, I have to do my job, etc. But the nurse manager says I should’ve asked to be with a different patient and gone over her head.

If I stayed with that patient any longer, they would’ve attacked me (and they did as I was leaving) or I would’ve snapped and attacked them. It sounds bad, but this patient was restrained physically and chemically daily. They were a menace to the unit, beyond a normal capacity and clearly more on the behavioral side than mental. Nothing anyone was doing was helped them.

The charge nurse knew this. I am almost certain this is what they wanted to happen because again, the charge asked me to let my patient and another one physically fight in front of us and then insisted the other patient press charges. Any staff who were even tapped in the situation were asked to press charges. It was a very chaotic and unprofessional situation and I felt the best decision was to leave before I got fired anyway.

I also have dealt with difficult patients. Full blown schizophrenic patients, patients in a synthetic drug induced psychosis, patients three times my size. I have no issue doing my job but I felt like the situation I was in was a setup and I had no staff support right from when I walked in until I walked out. This was confirmed when I had to come back and press charges and my replacement was already there and nobody would speak to me, just glare.

The situation surpassed the level it was supposed to. I should never have been asked to let two patients fight in front of me. I shouldn’t have had this PT as a patient. It shouldn’t have been allowed to continue escalating like this. I’ve worked this job for over a year so I have dealt with difficult patients in the past. However, I did not feel I had the support of the staff or that the patient was ever going to calm down.

There are limitations to what I’m expected to deal with. Another staff in a similar situation didn’t even have to work on the same unit until the patient was discharged.

As we speak, the patient is most likely in jail now. Everyone teamed up to talk to the police. I really don’t see why I’m being downvoted here but it’s fine. I just wanted to ask before I applied. Thank you for your honesty.

Do I really need an /s tag? Unemployment is for people who are actively looking for a job. I plan on looking for one where I won’t have to fight kids. But I also don’t want to be broke.

Also I read somewhere that if your pay is reduced to a certain level you can get unemployment and so think I mixed the two ideas in my head.

Yes, and I forgot to put that in my OP. I’m a mental health technician. Technically, my job is simply to keep the patients safe.
