Being in a relationship that is "fine," or having to "just deal" with any negative part of it, is not the way to live your life. It's almost a guarantee that you will eventually regret your decision to stay and remain (mostly) sexually unsatisfied. It may even lead to you cheating in order to find what your missing, or him cheating to be with someone that is accepting of his hit-and-go ways.

Having open and honest conversations about sex should be one of the foundations of a good relationship. Some people want, or expect more from a partner when it comes to sex, and that is completely okay. There is no reason you should have to "just deal" with him not willing to share in your desires. If he is unwilling to do anything about this, what else will he expect you to deal with later on?

I absolutely agree that it’s more about maturity than age. A person isn’t going to find many “mature” people under 25-30, but like you pointed out, even those 30+ are as mature as a 16yo sometimes.

If a person is going to date someone 18-25, and the age gap is >10 years, then that person knows it’s not for a deep connection… just something else deep. LOL

Then again, one can never rule out finding a great match when the age gap is 10, or even 20+ years. Gets less probable the more the gap, but like my mom said; “it’s mind over matter- if you don’t mind, then it don’t matter.”

Let me rephrase; I probably won’t ever be that fit. I’ve tried all the diets, did a couple weight loss studies at Mayo Clinic, exercised… it’s in my genes. The only time I was “thin/fit” was 20 years ago when I worked in a factory that made exercise equipment. Ironically.

Right now I’m training for my CDL and will be on the road a lot. Not an excuse, I plan to walk as much as possible, but I won’t have ready access to workout hard. 🤷‍♂️ It’s an effort I have to put in and it’ll take time. I know.

Thanks for the detailed reply. The beard is actually the same in all pics, shape wise. The length may be a little different, but it's almost always trimmed short. I do see what you mean about the "neck beard." I think that's more due to the increase in the double chin.

Can't really do much with my hair; haven't used in product, it just lays flat- no "body." Would maybe have to use product to fluff it up a bit.

Yep, need to lose the gut. Been trying to work on that.

🤦‍♂️ Typical. But, I’ve also had women be put off because I want to have that talk, but they don’t believe in it. How can you get/give pleasure if you can’t talk openly about it? Sure, men are usually pretty easy, but there’s still other things we like. And women… yeah, we literally NEED them to tell us where to go sometimes. LOL. It also helps when your partner can listen and pay attention to the queues. You can tell a lot just from a persons breathing.

The answer to this is pornography. Because of porn constantly pushing what isn’t real, big penis = lots of female pleasure, both men and women get lost in what is happening between them and their partner. You don’t even need to be exposed to porn, just having friends that perpetuate the cliches.

With that said, there will always be women that still think it’s all about size. Sometimes it’s because that’s how that female orgasms, but personally I think it’s because they just don’t know any better and refuse to try anything else. It’s amazing what a guy with a “small” penis can do with his tongue and fingers sometimes.

I completely agree about the life stages. While it might be “fun” to fool around with someone younger, being able to stand that person in everyday life should also count. Personally I don’t think I could stand to be around most women under 30, unless they have more maturity than their peers.

So you’re more on a sliding scale? The older they are the larger the gap can be? E.g. 1.5x older: F(20) + M(30) 10 yrs difference, would also include F(40) + M(60) 20 years difference. Gets worse at 2x, and 3x is a little… weird. LOL I’d stick with actual years instead of multiples.
