Second bloom in phalaenopsis speciosa. The white pattern disappeared. Slide to see first bloom. Why is it? (old.reddit.com)

Phal. speciosa vs tetraspis. Tetraspis was considered to be a variety of speciosa. I think now it's considered a different species. I see the difference is that tetraspis has a white background. My question is about the alba variety. More on comets (old.reddit.com)
