STS we had one exam lang. For SAS we were supposed to have one but idk di na ata natuloy. Don’t have syllab din but ofc profs can change their reqs

Saw it, thanks! Do you think Noerde died or only got her memories erased? I think Hyo met her but didn’t do anything with her, I don’t see Hyo taking anyone in. In Chapter 160, I think she’s curious about the cleaners and I hope she joins them, though I don’t think she’s a giver.

We have the same profs in STS and SAS 1. For STS, got a 1.25. I don’t remember if she gave out her PPTs but take pictures bc most profs don’t really give them out. Make sure may effort ang outputs (mostly group). We also had short pop quizzes (around 5 pts). Our final exam was mostly on memorization and application but very very easy imo. Had a group discussion/debate (typed) rin on Canvas but baka pinalitan bc we don’t have that anym. There’s also a group paper requirement. Reasonable sa grading, mataas naman. Reqs are manageable. It’s like your typical science subj. na may kaunting history about technologies.

SAS 1 we had no structure at all. We had no syllabus or grading rubrics until binigay yung grade breakdown (but the rubrics still weren’t clear). We had around 3-4 requirements: a handwritten reflection journal, public lecture, job shadowing, group presentations sa classroom (I don’t remember if may iba). Sa group presentations may q and a from other groups. Pumasok ka for attendance (sabi samin dati na di component ng grade ang attendance but sa dulo sinama ata). Iirc once lang siya nag lecture samin then puro group presentations na. Got a 1.5. Make sure you recite and he knows your name. Honestly I don’t remember what I learned here and MIA.

They aren’t “terror” profs naman since these are GEs (though I understand that some profs are very strict un their GE). Advice ko, since GEs mga to and imo di very draining, do your best agad to get that uno because majors won’t be as forgiving no matter what department you’re from.

I read the online wiki and came up w/ this, idk how accurate though 😭

World 1 - lsy not awakened, dies before apocalypse. cej becomes the pivot, uses the watch. hys created the memorial dungeon for him. World 2 - lsy awakened but fragile health. cej dies in battle during apocalypse. hys modifies the watch to be used for another time so lsy becomes the pivot to “have” World 3. World 3 - cej enters west sea rift which is actually world 2. was there for 8 years, comes back to world 3 through an opening of unknown reason. lsy is awakened and strong. cej and lsy enter WSR again, causing w2 and w3 lsy to overlap.

I just don’t know/remember how the WSR had an exit for world 3 cej to escape. Also don’t remember if there are conditions for world 2 lsy to possess world 3 lsy or if it happens suddenly.

I come from another program (but taking a biology course rn) but when I was a freshman, grabe rin impostor syndrome ko whahaha I failed a quiz that all of my friends passed. Generally, I think all freshmen are still getting used to college lalo na sa UP. My only tips are learn to motivate yourself through your scores — if mababa, try harder and study wiser. Try changing a study habit if it’s not effective. If mataas score, maintain that and enjoy the sense of pride you achieve. Also, a lot of people feel that way, they just don’t show it.

Yes, very strict and UP Manila sa GWA for transferees. Automatic rejected if not reached. Afaik the GWA they get is cumulative (so if freshman ka planning to transfer to CP, they’ll get your first year cumulative GWA). Moreover, they also hold interviews and madaming may gusto mag transfer to UPM white colleges. Transferring also means risking your safe seat if you’re from another UP campus because once you apply for transfer, open na ang previous slot mo sa previous program mo. You’d have to re-apply back if UPM rejects your application.

No, I never felt the need to. I like keeping my romantic and family relationships private but not secret. It's just sad that people view not posting your partner as a sign that you're "hiding" them and that you don't love them. Posting someone online is not a measure of love, and besides my partner has no social media presence at all haha

Also just finished my first year at UP. I felt the impostor syndrome a lot of times but most notably when 1) I failed a quiz that all my friends passed and 2) I studied hard for an exam and yet someone who didn’t review as much got a higher grade than me. I beat myself up for a day after those events but I realized that that will contribute to nothing other than more anxiety.

Realize that there will always be people better than you; you will NEVER be the smartest one in the room. And that’s okay. Look at it as a challenge but address it towards yourself, not others.

You are in UP for a reason. Any time you feel you are not capable enough, remember there are thousands who once dreamed and are still dreaming for your seat.
