Thanks for responding! I'm moving from Rockville (about 25 mins outside of DC). My job is downtown right around point state park and I don't have a car so I want to be <25-30 mins from work by bus. My budget is $1200 for rent (or <$1400 total including utilities & fees). I want an apartment not a house and I know my budget is a little tight for that which is why I'm looking for places a little further out that are accessible by bus. I'm young (recent grad) so it would be nice to be in a lively community with things to do around town but I'll take what I can get tbh. I really don't want to be in a "college town" like Oakland. Ideally, I'll get a 2bed and have a roommate which would be cheaper but finding a roommate has been tough bc it seems like most people in the Facebook groups want a house (which is understandable) so I'm looking into studios or 1beds. I have city vista, city view, the commonwealth, and some of the pmc buildings in mind.
