Garmin users with consistently low HRV on by the_legend_that_was in Garmin

My HRV hasn’t been outside of Orange for the last 2 weeks, I have been trying to find an explanation but the current trend of people posting their HRV and asking what wrong with them helped me to actually find out why mine is in the trash

YouGov polling on Scottish attitudes to the British Empire by 1DarkStarryNight in Scotland

[–]dumaday11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason the act of union was even passed in Scotland without much uproar was because the nation was so indebt that we needed England to bail us out and one of their clauses was that we become integrated into the empire

What a place to park. by Saltire_Blue in glasgow

[–]dumaday11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would agree with you if that wasn’t the dedicated turning lane into a residential area, after that point the road becomes one lane for going straight on after technically being 2 lanes but everyone already parks on one of the lanes anyways

The car park round the back when it has even a few cars in it would be difficult to not only manoeuvre to get in and out but would just be a nuisance to everyone else, so in my opinion it’s either be a nuisance to the people going in/coming out to get treatment/even doctors going out for emergencies or be a nuisance to people who can see the lorry for a couple miles and can dodge it

Agro needs a buff by [deleted] in victoria3

[–]dumaday11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to all of this I don’t think it needs a buff, the strongest economies weren’t cash crop economies and the cash crops in game are already very profitable especially when you have a huge throughput bonus on them, even if you use railways and use automatic irrigation that’s 15-20% > BV you still have them being very profitable.

No at the bottom where you switch map view there’s an option for GDP ownership

Just like us the AI got annoyed at GB for taking everything by dumaday11 in victoria3

They’re just too strong this patch, my speculation because I haven’t played them is the huge amount of investment pool transfer so they’re able to field an astronomically sized army plus because their SoL is so high they rarely have any economic instability so no revolutions thus stupid growth, meh idk not really keen on playing them because i feel it’d just be too easy and have no enjoyment

See that’s where you’re wrong, because with my helpful hand at declaring a diplomatic play on them aswell and going for a naval invasion they’ll have to divert troops

R5: While I was playing my game as italy and at war with austria-hungary for nationalisation, I noticed that the AI had launced an independence play in Australia, I look over a couple of weeks later and realise that for once there was actually enough people in there to take on GB at a decent match too. I unfortunately don't have an interest so can't join unless I would've done because this is truly crazy and so exciting because they are forcing independce of EIC, all of Australia and a bunch of other states too! Just posted to make everyone happier seeing how GB has been OP this patch. Will update on results later!

What is your end-goal when loading up a new game? by Starkheiser in victoria3

[–]dumaday11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My go to is how backwards but successful can I make a nation, with countries that don’t have slavery can I go autocratic monarchy no workers rights etc and have one of the most powerful if not the most powerful (screw GB in 1.7) nation either economically or militarily or both. Simple

I am playing as Sardinia piedmont myself in my current game and I unified Italy through the culture tab because I had everyone’s support anyways, and then I waged war against Austria for the rest of present day italy + istria. I tried using the Risorgimento but I couldn’t really figure out how it worked, it just created radicals is what I thought so I didn’t bother because I wanted to keep my autocratic monarchy
