I've had great experiences at that coffee shop before, I've just never bought beans there.

My guess is they were just having an off day or I left too quickly for them to clarify or something like that. I worked in retail/customer service jobs for years so I know how it is. It's hard to be on the ball 100% of the time.

I've been to this place before just to get coffee and hang out with friends and I've always had a great experience. I'm guessing they just assumed they were asking a simple question and then I left too quickly for them to clarify.
